Found this article on how a Dutch model, Eniko Mihalik is transformed with make-up to look like 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 years old. The article says that by just changing the external packaging of a human, the photographer and the make-up artist can completely change ones appearance. I am now packaged with moustache and look like 40 year old trucker with a serious alcohol problem. My external package is horrible.
If it’s useless and weird and japanese, then Gizmine probably has it. Like bubble-wrap popping simulator forthat endless popping fun!
or a “thumb” drive
or an envelope opening simulator
or Facebank, which has motion sensors in it’s eyes so when wave a coin in front of it’s eyes the mouth will open, and when you deposit it, it will chew and swallow the coin. Genius.
Camille just sent me another free software for capturing your desktop in video or images. The difference is the videos are always recorded in SWF format and you can also record sound. On the other hand, is easy to use and is also for MAC!
Mandsoft has developed this program that allows you to record your desktop and save it as .AVI file. It’s like print the screen but you can record a video of the screen. Useful for software tutorials style videos. In the Free Version you will have an ugly message saying you have a “Unregistered” version, but you can crop it out with any video editor.
This blog is getting more movement and more eyes on it, so…
I decided to clean things up and give the blog a new look.
The focus has been on improving the layout, making the type a bit bigger, and generally less scrappy. Maybe adding a bit more personality, but you can be the judge of that.
I will continue to shuffle things around and improve it as I become more familiar with wordpress. If things are broken, please tell me.
Also, if you want a link to your site on the right sidebar, let me know and I will add it (or Camille can do it too).
An impressive show reel of Mark Coleran, a visual designer responsible for various screen, interface, motion, and graphic designs for film and television. A lot of multi layered graphics.
This could be interesting for the second year IxD students who are undertaking the packaging workshop. I really like the (very) basic design simplicity of these toys.
