Looks like Dell is aiming for a new clientele: supermodels and/or metrosexuals. Sweet.
In a recent interview on the Today Show, Mark Zuckerberg  the young founder of Facebook  observed that the single most distinctive feature of his revolutionary social networking site was its capacity to let users control various degrees of privacy.
Here’s a small gallery showing how the lovely open house day went down in our coolerish interaction workshop.
Thanks to all that helped and came to visit!

They say this the future of dining in restaurants. Time will tell.
A lot better video with explonations on CNET.
As y’all know, it’s the open house tomorrow in UID. The lovely people from Ställverket will be cookin’ waffles for all to eat while visiting our beloved School and facilities.
We tried to get our workshop semi-sparkling today, and, well, it is semi-sparkling (kind of). Also, Camille set up a few interactive stuff to… well, interact with.
See you there tomorrow, and please, IxD people, send us projects to show to the locals who’ll be visiting us!
Virtual Reality with a couple of WiiMotes, no Johnny Lee here.

Instructions here. (not for beginners)
Seriously, PETA wants to create tofu that is flavoured with George Clooney’s sweat and they call it CloFu. “CloFu could make your taste buds and your heart melt. Of course, what’s even better is that after everyone gets a piece of George and realizes how delicious tofu truly is, diets will be revolutionized.”, says the PETA blogger Liz Graffeo.
Great! I’m actually happy about this. Food is one of the areas where biotech can be a real future player, not just making GM crops or hybrid fruits like grapples, pluots, lematos or tangelos.
The “prototyping-hot-corner” (Pepe, Roberto and me) were uploading quite a lot of videos to Vimeo lately. So I created a Vimeo channel for us where all our videos are at one place. We thought it might be cool to have place where all videos from our Interaction Design group could be collected. Not sure if Vimeo is the right place, but I like it (much more than Youtube). What do you think about it? I remember all the videos of the experience prototyping workshop Camille took… it’s hard to find them now. Also we could create a permant link (that always shows the latest video) here on this blog.
Anyway… if you have your own Vimeo account, feel free to add me to your contacts and I’ll give you permissions to add videos to the Umea Institute of Design channel.

I never heard about this before, but I live in a barrel under the stairs. It’s a collection of a lot of processing sketches, together with the source code. Verrry nice. Share your own too, right?
