Found this video of Tamara Munzner via Ben Fry’s (Processing co-founder) blog. It’s mostly not pretty info vis per se—and it’s really math-heavy—, but it’s very interesting and insightful to get a glimpse at understanding how to display—and interpret—data.

I find it quite refreshing to get an efficiency-driven, engineer-like no-nonsense approach to displaying information. Beware though, Web 2.0 aficionados, no glossy buttons and fancy gradients here.
