Early Star Wars Storyboards.

November 12 2008

For the narrative minded visionaries in Us.

These are early storyboards from Star Wars, some from even before the Falcon was changed to its current design. I took them from Hyperspace’s Insider supplement, where they weren’t being given quite the attention they deserve for their relative rarity.

Edit: check the whole nextnature.net site for extremely clever things, especially on biomimicking.  I copy/paste a lot of stuff from there to here anyways.

Frustration-free packaging, and maybe you heard about the Treepac concept too.

Throw your packaging links on here; SUBstainable, BIOdirrational, or neither.

facial visualizer…and some other stuff

November 6 2008

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxdlYFCp5Ic]

you think it’s a music composing tool controled by facial expression? wrong. it is actually the opposite. Daito Manabe’s(the guy in the video) face is twisted to the music via electrical-pulse stimulation — 10 channels in total, 8 to control his facial expressions, 2 to keep the music and face in sync.

and another project he did, using some magnets and some kind of sensors..
