Transitions also can get boring. After nth time you’ve seen the windows filp and flop, you just want the interface to be faster and more efficient. Transitions are most of the time just excess fluff to show your friends how cool your gadget is. People are not as stupid as some designers think they are. This is, after all, a screen you are looking at, not a living thing. (Transitioning this comment to be invisible) _
