We have seen many concepts and projects over the years that introduces “Mobile Augmented Reality” ideas. Handsets were too slow, the camera was crappy, the sensors not right. It seems to be happening now with new devices and proper software.
Check this demo of Layar, the first mobile augmented reality browser.
It seems robust enough. Still I’m not so sure I would be spinning around on the streets to find a new home to rent/buy.

The B-Touch mobile phone takes the iPhone touchscreen revolution a step ahead by incorporating innovate features to make a touchscreen cellphone for the blind. Limitation of senses does not hinder the sensitivity of this phone coz it combines technologies of blind-touch screen (Braille), voice systems and programs to function as regular phone, navi-system, book reader and object recognizer. I backed up my projects folder to an external drive. 2 years of studying and all I got is 46,6 GB of stuff. Not really. Had some wonderful times and good projects too.
Congratulations to all the graduating students, especially the IxD ones! Your projects are amazing and I will surely miss you.
