Cool project by Microsoft Research. It’ll be integrated in the XBox 720, which will be presented next month.

I can’t wait to see the illumiroom Xbox 720 in action. I think it’s really going to surprise people and could turn into a real killer-app, much like the Kinect did last gen (although it’s potential was never really on display due to the casual-focus). The full reveal can’t come soon enough!

This is Philips Ambilight on steroids. Not sure it will make the games I play better, but the AAA industry must approve.
Also, an applaud to MSR for being open with what they are working on.
