For irresponsible millionaires who have a lot of time and live in monster homes, yes. The kitchen alone in the video is the size of an apartment/flat.

For us people with less space, maybe the interfaces could be projected on to the ceiling so we can have all our contact management and photo sorting needs met, and we don’t feel left out. The difference is WE would need to look up to our ceiling and lift our arms towards it to gesture commands (praises) for the “cloud” to consider; a constant reminder of how technology is about to crush us at any moment.

I realize this is all “future vision,” but hell, don’t designers in the developed world realize how insensitive it is to use scenarios portraying lives most will never live or want?

Even for the wealthy – who wants to cook on a gigantic granite kitchen counter with a screen projected on to it? Gourmet, yeah?
