Wearable Computing – Yeah!

I can see that “Wearable” MIT sweatshirts were big in the early 90’s and even into the middle of the decade, but dropped out of fashion before the end of the millenium.

The computers themselves, on the other hand, show no significant change from the 80’s all the way to the late nineties. Only in the late 90’s can we see a big change. Losing the sweatshirt was clearly an important milestone in the advancement of wearable computing. Or…?
