Windows 8 tablets
A few weeks ago I installed the windows 8 beta on my laptop. Not really the greatest OS experience so far.

The cover/keyboard combo is quite clever, I wonder what’s the feeling of typing of the felt-like texture.
Usually, products from the Microsoft Hardware Group come out very nice. It’s good to see them venture into something more than mice and keyboards now.

Microsofts best choices lately has been to join efforts with Nokia. It felt like this good compromise between being stuck in software and making hardware Apple-style. Microsoft makes good software – Nokia makes great hardware.
Although, they can make pretty sophisticated hardware (Xbox, Kinect…). I am really looking forward to use Windows 8 when it is working well.
Modern gadgetry is like an orgy with supermodels; flashy, meaningless, pointless, good looking sex that serves no purpose other than getting a bunch of self-loathing, coked-up ad agency workers their yearly dose of distant comfort.
I can’t honestly see myself using this. I tried Windows Phone for a couple of weeks, but was bored to death…. …which actually might be a good thing, since I keep fingering my Android-junk at every idle moment. So.. does this mean that this is distraction-free and I should get one? I don’t know. Either way I’m confused.
