This material came from a large EU project around the design and synthesis of sound. The project was titled CLOSED and some collaborators from IRCAM (the audio mecca in France) contributed with various deliverables and algorithms. They produce at Sound Design Toolkit (SDT) featuring nice Max/MSP and PD modules and patches.
