The future is clean, uncluttered, and full of wipe transitions. I’m waiting for the next vision: Interaction Design in the Post-Human World.

Cynicism aside, there are a lot of ideas here and it’s worth taking a look. You can watch an extended version here.

Also, the future is not made for a man with huge hands. Touchscreens with ridiculously small text is just not for me. Also my skin doesn’t conduct very well. I’m all for designing with touchscreens, but it definitely brings new problems that mouse doesn’t have. And also your hands will get very tired after a while. Plus all that augmented reality stuff, will probably be just full ads, not nice graphics pointing directions. And the whole video pretty Getty Images, aaarrgh! But, it’s full of nice ideas.

Oh, and is that a searchbar I see there? That should be the first thing go away from interfaces.

I wouldn’t worry too much, Mikko. I think in the future you’ll be able to easily fix your big-thumb problem and epidermal conductivity defficiency.
