A new board is on its way for more internet connectedness. It will have it’s own plug-in modules (including one that’s arduino-compatible). The programming happens in javascript and can be done wirelessly.

Nice, looks interesting! I’m curious to see the price-tag though, as that’s usually the problem with wifi-boards. Also I’m a bit surprised they didn’t go with one of the existing languages for microcontrollers. JavaScript isn’t really OO and has very loose typing, but at maybe the good thing is webdevelopers will feel right at home :-)
